Metin Özgör

He was born in 1988. He began his studies in 2006 at the Department of Fine Arts, Ahmet

Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education, Selçuk University, and graduated in 2010 with a degree in Art Education. Between 2012 and 2016, he worked as a Visual Arts Teacher in Harran and Suruç, Şanlıurfa. Between 2010 and 2019 , following experimental art projects and theoretical research, and after producing a series of geometric abstract paintings between 2019 and 2024, he began creating graphic figurative works in 2024 that explore concepts such as society, the individual, and identity within the framework of the concept of bodily boundaries. He began his art education in 2021 at Trakya University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting, and completed his Master’s program in 2023. Since 2016, he has continued teaching painting in Istanbul and maintains his artistic practice in his own studio.
