Kristina Culus

Kristina Culus is a Ukrainian abstract artist born in the city of Odessa, known as the pearl of the Black Sea. From an early age, she studied at the renowned Kostandi Art School, where her artistic taste began to take shape under the influence of her hometown’s cultural heritage, rich architecture, and magnificent natural landscapes. During her years of training, Culus would spend hours walking through the old quarters of Odessa, capturing the essence of historic Jewish houses in watercolor. This experience nurtured her imagination and deepened her understanding of space and composition.

In 2021, Culus began collaborating with the Root Karakoy hotel chain, where her works adorn every room. Her paintings are also exhibited in Root Bodrum, Sub Bodrum, and Palmalife Hotel. Subsequently, Culus created unique 3D projects for renowned furniture brands such as Enza Home and Marandmore, which garnered significant interest in her work. Currently, she collaborates with the prestigious furniture and design brand Şiraz Mobilya in Istanbul. Since 2023, Culus has been actively participating in art exhibitions in Istanbul, Ankara, Bodrum, and Izmir. In October 2023, her works were presented at one of the most prestigious galleries in the world — Saatchi — during the Focus Art Fair in London.
