Zeynep Güler Özgörüş​

 

Zeynep Güler Özgörüş was born in Diyarbakır in 1968.   A graduate of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University’s Bodrum Fine Arts Faculty, Painting Department, Zeynep Güler Özgörüş has exhibited her works in various solo and group exhibitions. Based in Istanbul, she continues her work at her studio in the city. While engaging with different components of contemporary art, Özgörüş prefers to use the power of plastic language in her paintings. Seeking to reach the creative world of art through abstract-spiritual elements, she explores the limitless possibilities born from the interaction of colors and forms. In her paintings, external features serve as tools to reveal inner vitality. The artist believes that a painting is an autonomous organism and allows each piece to create its own story.
