Mehmet Öğüt
Mehmet Öğüt is currently pursuing his master’s degree at Marmara University, Institute of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. Between 2014 and 2015, he studied at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in The Hague, the Netherlands. In 2015, he received the V.I.G. (Vienna Insurance Group) Award Special Prize at the ESSL Art Award CEE competition organized by the ESSL Museum in Vienna, Austria, where the jury included curator René Block. Following this award, he was invited to participate in the V.I.G. Special Invitation Exhibition held in Vienna in 2016. In addition to his works being held in private collections, one of his pieces is also part of the Hacettepe University Art Collection.
